     Roads are the embodiment of civilization,the marks of social progress and the foundation for economic development.They are also the passage to prosperity.Set up in September 2001,Tianditong Highway Construction and Development Co.,Ltd.has a registered capital of RMB108 million.As one of the private-owned en-terprises in lnner Mongolia entering the sector of highway construction,we con-duct the construction,operations and mangement of highways mianly in the mode of BOT.Ever since our establishment,by focusing on the over-all planningfor highway construction in lnner Mongolia,we have been actively engaged in the construction of the high-ways of the Autonomous Region in the format of “3 transverse’s and 9 longitudinal’s with 12 major exits”.We have successively built with our own in-vestment the Grade 1 Highway of the section of Qingshuihe-Pianguan of No.209 National Highway, and the Grade 1 Double Lane Highway of the section of Habiriga-Shangdu and the Grade 2 Highway of the section of Lamawan (in Qingshuihe County)-Xiachengwan along the Yellow River of No.304 Provincial Highway, with our builtup mileage of highways at 132.46km and total investment for RMB940 million.The completion of the several highways has offered the indispensable transportation for the local development of minerals,energy,trade and tourism,which has made contributions to the overall improvement of the backward communications and economy in the Autonomous Region.Meanwhile, we plan to build Mountain Maotaishan-Qinglong Cave Ecological Tourist Zone with a total investment of RMB15 million and have invested 60% of the said amount up to the present by drawing on our advantage of being adjacent to No.209 National Highway, fully utilizing the humanistic and geographic environment in Huhhot, centering on the valleys around the Yellow River Reservoir and regarding as the underlying advantages the Mongolian Prairie Culture, the Great Wall Culture of the Ming and Sui Dynasties, the Yellow River Culture and the Cave Culture.
